On opening the app, you'll see your current location on the map. You can zoom in and out, drag to explore different areas, and switch between map views, such as Default, Satellite, and Terrain, from the layers button.

Tapping on the pin will provide more information about the location, such as its address, hours of operation, and reviews, if applicable.

To get directions, tap on 'Directions' and enter your start and end points. Google Maps will show you different routes, their estimated travel times, and distance.
